GitHub PR Files Progress Tracker is committed to protecting your privacy. This extension operates entirely within your browser and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or user data.

This extension does NOT: • Collect any personal information • Store user data or browsing history • Track user behavior or analytics • Send data to external servers • Use Google Analytics or any tracking services • Access GitHub credentials or authentication tokens • Read or store source code content

HOW THE EXTENSION WORKS

• Reads DOM elements only on GitHub Pull Requestpages • All processing occurs locally in your browser • Identifies unviewed files by checking the "Viewed" checkbox states • Adds UI elements to display the unviewed files list • Updates the display in real-time based on your interactions

REQUIRED PERMISSIONS

Host Permission: https://github.com/* This permission is required solely to: • Detect if you're on a GitHub Pull Request page • Read the file list and "Viewed" checkbox states • Add the tracker panel UI to the page • Monitor changes to update the display in real-time

The extension ONLY activates on GitHub Pull Request "Files changed" tabs and remains completely inactive on all other websites.

DATA STORAGE

• No data is stored locally or remotely • No cookies are created or accessed • No browser storage APIs are used for persistence • All data exists only in memory during the active session

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

This extension does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

Any updates to this privacy policy will be reflected in the extension's update notes on the Chrome Web Store.
